Aunt Fafa bought a new bike and is loving it. It is an Electra Townie. Look them up on the Internet.... they are cool. I got a kinda boring looking one, but isn't that my style? LOL I know.... it looks like a Grandma bike, but it is awesome. Very comfy and actually much faster than it looks. (I know speed has a lot to do with the operator, but all in all, it is pretty efficient.) Evcn "I" can keep up.
Did you know that if you want to test ride a bike from REI you have to sign a waver and be fitted for a bike helmet before they will even let you take it out of the store and into the parking lot to ride it?? I feel old..... "a waiver"?? I guess you just never know when you might crash on your bike in the REI parking lot??
Anyways, since I took these pics of my bike I got a basket to go on the front (stop laughing) and a headlight. The basket is for groceries because I like to ride my bike to the store about a mile away. The headlight... I almost got hit by a car the other night and I thought a little something to make me "visible" (as if that is usually a problem) would help. LOL
